Dr. Justin Wasserman is a board-certified dermatologist, dermatopathologist, and Mohs micrographic surgeon with special interests that span both surgical and general dermatology. Dr. Wasserman graduated cum laude from Yale University with a Bachelor’s and a Master’s Degree in Molecular Biophysics and Biochemistry. He received his Doctorate of Medicine at the University of Florida where he graduated first in his class. He was elected to the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society in his junior year as well as receiving numerous academic achievement awards. Dr. Wasserman completed his internship in internal medicine at Shands Hospital in Jacksonville, followed by residency training in dermatology at the University of Chicago where he was Chief Resident. Following residency, Dr. Wasserman completed a much sought after dermatopathology fellowship at the renowned University of Chicago.
Dr. Olga Ulitsky is a board-certified dermatologist with interests in surgical, general, and cosmetic dermatology. Dr. Ulitsky graduated summa cum laude from Loyola University – Chicago and received a Bachelor’s degree with Honors in Chemistry with emphasis in Biochemistry. She received her Doctorate of Medicine at the University of Illinois – Chicago where she graduated in the top of her class. While there, she was elected to the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society and was the recipient of the Research in Dermatology award for her work on resveratrol in Melanoma cell lines as well as multiple other scholastic achievement awards. Dr. Ulitsky completed her internship in internal medicine at Weiss Memorial Hospital in Chicago, followed by residency training in dermatology at the University of Chicago. After residency, Dr. Ulitsky spent several successful years practicing in the Chicago suburb of Northbrook where she sought out further training in cosmetic dermatology.
Dr. Penelope Kallis Skopis is a board-certified dermatologist specializing in medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology. Dr. Skopis graduated cum laude from the University of Florida with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology and a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Modern Greek Studies. She received her Doctorate of Medicine from the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine and completed a year of clinical research in wound healing prior to graduating. In her senior year, she was elected to the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society for her academic achievement. Dr. Skopis completed her internship in internal medicine at MedStar Washington Hospital Center in D.C., followed by residency training in dermatology at the University of Florida. During her residency, she received the Gold Humanism Award for her compassionate care and her volunteer work with the underserved. After residency, Dr. Skopis spent a year in Chicago where she worked as assistant professor in dermatology and director of the medical student dermatology clerkship at Rush University Medical Center. Her time at Rush was devoted to teaching residents and medical students, and she gained invaluable experience treating patients with a variety of complex dermatologic conditions.
Dr. Skopis has special interest in treating inflammatory skin disorders, such as psoriasis, eczema, and other rashes, in addition to dermatologic surgery and cosmetic dermatology. She has published many articles in general dermatology in peer-reviewed medical journals. She is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology.
Dr. Skopis was raised nearby in Bradenton, Florida and is excited to be moving close to home. She is proficient in Greek. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, cooking and trying new restaurants, traveling, and group fitness classes.
